SPARKS UK Electrical Apprentice of the Year: The prizes

no comments

Our search for the SPARKS UK Electrical Apprentice of the Year is nearly over…so what goodies will the winner get?

Throughout January and February, we travelled across seven regions of the UK in search of our 2019 winner.

The winner of each regional heat and the highest runner-up overall scorer will go on to the grand final, which will take place at the 3M Centre in Bracknell on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st March.

Alongside the prestige for both the winning student and winning college, there’s a fantastic list of prizes up for grabs. The prizes have been donated by well-known industry names.

Each student who entered the competition received prizes, including a Schneider toolbag and gifts from WAGO, whilst each of our finalists already received a prize bundle for winning their regional heats.

The winner’s prizes

The runner-up will receive £500 cash from Schneider Electric, their college will receive £500 worth of products and their employer will receive £150 or balance in tools.

Plus, each of our eight finalists gets a HiKOKI drill, and tape, a beanie hat, a cup holder and pair of gloves from 3M – in addition to everything they received for winning their regional heats!

To celebrate SPARKS’ 10th anniversary, we are also giving backpacks, stress balls and beanie hats to each competitor!
