Synapsys Solutions adds BACnet MSTP to its SIP+ hardware
Synapsys Solutions has announced that BACnet MSTP is now available within its SIP+ hardware as standard.
Synapsys Solutions continues to push the boundaries of integration, communication and data exchange features, from one device; with the introduction of the new BACnet MSTP driver to all SIP+ product ranges.
BACnet MSTP is a BACnet protocol communicating via RS485 and Synapsys’ new MSTP driver enables the SIP+ to discover BACnet devices and object types within the constraints of the BACnet MSTP network.
New Cloud function for Scolmore’s Click Smart range
Scolmore has updated the App for its Click Smart range with a new feature that the company is calling the ‘cloud function’.
It will provide access to Click Smart installations through the internet, allowing secure control of devices from anywhere in the world – from simple dimming and switching, to more sophisticated controls like live status, scenes and schedules.
Comprising three basic components, Click Smart Box, RF Receivers and a Smart Phone, the system is a high end, professional one which is very competitively priced and has been designed with installers in mind. It can add functionality to already installed Click Smart receivers, or it can be installed from scratch on a brand new build and it enables automation via phone for the whole family or team.
ESP adds Self Test Fittings to Emergency Lighting range
ESP continues to develop its Duceri range of Emergency Lighting and the latest addition is a new range of Self Test Emergency Light Fittings which offers numerous benefits over standard fittings by reducing the costs and time associated with manual testing and inspection.
By opting for self-test fittings installers and contractors can save valuable time and expense, with each self-test fitting utilising an inbuilt processor to initiate ‘Self Tests’. Once an issue is discovered, the fitting will
clearly display the fault via the status LED.
Workwear brand Dickies has unveiled its 2019-20 catalogue, featuring a brand-new layout plus 17 new products including a selection of t-shirts and shorts in time for the summer season.
The catalogue is over 300 pages long – the largest ever published by Dickies – and the new design aims to make it simple for tradespeople and retailers to use.
