Jack Appleby is our May SPARKS Learner of the Month winner- We caught up with him to find out what it means to win.

Jack Appleby, 20, has been crowned as the SPARKS Learner of the Month for the second time, when asked what it means to him, he said “This is great, I’m so glad I was chosen again and people enjoy my work!”

This time, Nescot College student Jack, has won a 96-piece Electricians Set and Bluetooth Radio from Makita. When asked what he will do with the prize, he explained “My drills are Makita so it will all fit in with my set and be used as soon as I get it!”

The photo he submitted for the award shows an outside bollard light that is very modern and matte grey installed by Jack.

When talking about the future, Jack let us know that he has a big passion for electrical work but particularly the commercial maintenance side of it. He hopes to one day successfully run his own company.

Congratulations Jack! Entries are now open for the February award, with an Ansell Lighting bundle on offer to the winner!

To enter, electrical students and apprentices must tag us in a photo of their work on social media and use #SPARKSLOTM. Our favourites (up to a maximum of eight) then go to a public vote at the end of the month before a winner is crowned. For full entry info, click here.
