Two Million People Reached by NAPIT Consumer Messages

NAPIT’s local newspaper campaigns have reached nearly 2.4 million readers nationwide this year, bringing essential electrical safety advice to householders and encouraging the use of competent, registered installers. The double-award winning promotion, in which over 80 local newspapers have taken part across the country, has continuously improved since it began in 2011.

The latest campaign was delivered by NAPIT in conjunction with the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA), the professional voice of the UK fire and rescue service, to provide quality advice to the British public on how to avoid electrical fires in their homes. NAPIT Group Chief Executive, Michael Andrews, said: “We are extremely pleased that we are able to reach so many people to help raise awareness of electrical fire safety and promote the use of competent, registered installers. Our local newspaper promotion is one of the many ways NAPIT are investing in making sure awareness messages are seen by as many householders as possible.”

Articles carrying awareness messages will continue to appear in newspapers throughout the rest of the year as NAPIT work with various organisations to promote the use of registered, competent installers.
