Ignite an interest in apprenticeships this National Apprenticeship Week

We found out the latest from Sue Husband, Director of the National Apprenticeship Service, as the National Apprenticeship Week 2017 begins…

From 6th to 10th March, employers and apprentices across England will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of National Apprenticeship Week. Co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, National Apprenticeship Week 2017 will showcase how apprenticeships provide a ladder of opportunity to a great career and we are urging employers and apprentices from the electrical engineering sector to get involved.

There are lots of ways to show support for the Week, from posting images and video content on social media demonstrating how your apprenticeship is giving you the skills you need for a rewarding career, to visiting local schools to demonstrate how young people can ‘get in and go far’ with an electrical engineering apprenticeship.  You could even work with your employer to run an open day for people to come and see what you do, or take photographs or produce a short film. Make sure you Tweet or post on Facebook using the hashtag #madebyapprentices.
